About Me
- Ruth Alice Sanborn

- Since childhood I've been up to my elbows in soil and plant matter. I have worked in upscale nurseries, arboretums, botanical gardens and private golf courses. In high school I won 2nd place overall in Individual Expertise at the State Chapters Future Farmers of America Tournament. In University I won scholarships from The San Diego Horticulture Society and Sherman Gardens in Orange County, for my Academic acheivements and dedication to the Industry of Horticulture My design skills have grown with my education and experiences. In 2007 I completed my B. Sc. in Environmental Horticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in California. The plant world is my world.
